What is eConsent?

eConsent is a product developed by Quodem that allows the digital contract management thanks to Carmerfirma, a digital certificate issued by the Chamber of Commerce to validate signed PDF by biometric signature.

This includes the signature picture and the stamp with the certificate to ensure that the document is correctly signed and that the identity of the signatory is valid.

The biometric information is encrypted and meets with the UNE-ISO 197001:2011.

Seven points to understand the biometric signature system

  • Once the document is signed, is sent to the Quodem servers
  • A motor of biometric signature is applied in electronic documents
  • An advanced algorithm of handwritten biometric signature is added
  • The algorithm collects biometric data during the signature process (position, time, speed, acceleration, pressure)
  • The algorithm normalize the data
  • The biometric information of the captured signature is encoded
  • Biometrics are encrypted in the capture device
